2011 Ford Fiesta Commercial
Below is Fords first 2011 Ford Fiesta Commercial. Looks exciting! Unfortunately, no Ford dealership will have any of these on the ground to sell until Late Winter or Early Spring of 2011. You can however still get your hands on one of these as Ford is producing them and sending out custom pre-orders. So if you want to pre-order one we can have you one for you in under 2 months. We also ship US wide.
Here are some pictures I took on the Fiesta Ride-n-Drive as well to give you something to look at.

Highest-Quality Cars Of 2010
Top Five Highest-Quality Cars Of 2010
- Ford Focus
- Ford Mustang
- Ford Taurus
- Hyundai Accent
- Honda Accord
Can you believe it? Ford has the top 3 out of 5 highest quality vehicles out of all makes and models in the United States. Toyota didn’t even hit the mark and Honda Accord came in last!
Among American manufacturers, Ford performed particularly well in 2010: Twelve of the company’s cars ranked within the top three in their segments, more than any other car company. And the $22,145 Mustang coupe, $25,170 Taurus sedan, and $16,290 Focus compact car all make our list of the year’s highest-quality cars.
One reason for Ford’s strong showing? Defect-free new launches. The redesigned Mustang and Taurus each won their respective segments in their first year out of the box. Other manufacturers also put out reliable new models: Lexus’ $65,380 LS 460 and $54,070 GS both make our list, and the $51,970 Lexus GX 460 SUV won its segment. Even though Porsche’s first-ever sedan, the $74,400 Panamera, didn’t win its segment, it received notably high initial quality scores as well.

The future is closer of automobiles thinking for themselves is closer than you think and Nissan is the one bringing this technology to the forefront. Watch this amazing 5 minute video and see how their cars will warn you of oncoming trafic, when there is a 4 way stop and even at stop lights. Please leave your comments and feedback on this video and the concept behind it.
GM Hummer Final Production
On Monday 5/24/2010, GM produced their last two Hummer 2. China investors backed out on purchasing this company and the US economy is to weak to make it worth while for GM to coninue making them. Watch the video below.
2011 Ford F250 In Stock!
EXCITING NEWS!!!!
We just received in our first newly designed 2011 Ford F-250 Diesel Truck. Turned it on and drove it around the lot. The diesel engine is so much quieter than the old diesels. Sound almost as low as a gas engine. It has a price sticker of around $50+K. If you are interested in this truck or just want to come down and see it in person, please let me know and I will be happy to help!

Video: This truck driver has got something on his nose…
by Chris Shunk (RSS feed) on Mar 17th 2010 at 3:59PM
Is this a highway or the set of a new Bruce Willis flick? What appears to be a cell phone-wielding cameraman has captured some timely highway footage of a truck driver hauling more than just a few dozen tons of potentially hazardous liquid. We have no idea how a vehicle, apparently a Renault Clio, could possibly find itself in such a precarious and perpendicular position, but we’re even more puzzled as to how the truck driver could possibly pass other vehicles in traffic without noticing a 3,000 pound vehicle on its nose.
Assuming this is real and not some sort of staged stunt, we’re sure hope the driver of the Clio escaped this unfortunate incident unharmed, because otherwise we would feel really guilty about the fact that we laughed at the fact that the brake lights were flashing on and off. Like that was going to do anything. Check out the video for yourself by hitting the jump. The video footage is admittedly less than great, but we feel the bizarre nature of the subject matter is worth a look.
Kia’s 2010 Forte offers a lot of content at a reasonable price
Kia’s 2010 Forte offers a lot of content at a reasonable price
Powered by a 2.0L, 16-valve, 156-hp 4-cylinder engine, the Forte EX with 4-speed automatic transmission was EPA rated at 25 city, 34 highway mpg. While it’s a small four, it was a peppy four cylinder with spirited acceleration. And how do you like those mpg ratings? Not bad, but could be a little better for a small sedan with a small engine. The Forte would seem to be the ideal vehicle for a Kia hybrid system that could substantially boost the mileage ratings.
Forte’s ride is a tad taut on 15-inch wheels and the steering heavy although parking it wasn’t a problem. Handling too wasn’t bad for a car in this price range. It feels planted although strong crosswinds toss it about a bit, a trait shared by many short wheelbase sedans.
I was impressed with the interior. Perforated leather surfaced seats are airy and alleviate sweating during hot cabin days while providing long wear. Both fore and aft seats were soft and accommodating. The vertical stack is nicely arranged and all controls easy to operate without having to consult the owners manual. Fit and finish was good and tastefully done.

Trunk space gets a two Pullman hardsider rating while golf clubs need the split rear seat to be folded. Here too, capacity was spacious even without flipping the rear seats.
As for content, Kia spared nothing. Standard fare includes such impressive tech features as ABS, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, full-length side curtain airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring, Sirius radio integrated with all bands plus CD/MP3, Bluetooth, power everything and a 10 year/100K powertrain warranty plus 5/60K 24-hour roadside assistance. The only options on my test car were the leather seating package ($1,000) and power sunroof ($800). Those two brought the base price of $16,795 up to $19,290 with delivery. Voila! A $20K car with decent mileage and loaded with content.

As such, Forte would make a good commuter car, second car or primary car for retired senior citizens who like jaunts to Lehigh Valley Mall, the Sands Casino in Bethlehem or to babysit the grandkids at their offspring’s’ homes.

Hot pursuit: Competition heats up for police cars
Hot pursuit: Competition heats up for police cars

DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford Motor Co. wants to remain the top gun in the U.S. police car market with a new cruiser due out next year, but its competitors are in hot pursuit.
Ford revealed its new Police Interceptor sedan Friday. The car, based on the Ford Taurus, will replace the Crown Victoria-based cruiser at the end of 2011.
It’s not a car for the faint of heart. The Police Interceptor has anti-stab plates built into the front seats to protect occupants from attacks, vinyl rear seats and floors that can be hosed down and available bulletproof doors. It’s built to withstand a 75-mile-per-hour rear crash.
Ford, which sells 70 percent of all U.S. police cars, wants to retain its 15-year dominance in the market, which sees average sales of 50,000 vehicles per year.
“We don’t take our leadership role lightly,” Ford Americas President Mark Fields told a police gathering in Las Vegas, and media watching by satellite from the company’s Dearborn headquarters. He said Ford has been developing the new squad car for two years with help from a police advisory panel.
Competition is growing. Chrysler’s Dodge Charger-based police car grabbed 18 percent of sales last year, up from 14 percent in 2007. In reports to the California Police Chiefs Association, some officers preferred the aggressive looks, faster acceleration and handling of the Charger.
Later this year, General Motors Co. will relaunch the Chevrolet Caprice police car after a 15-year absence from the U.S. market. GM also sells a police car based on the Impala. Carbon Motors Corp., a new company based in Indiana, plans to build police cars to departments’ exact specifications starting in 2012. Even the Toyota Prius hybrid has been modified for police work in Seattle and other cities.
Ford said the new cruiser will save taxpayers money because it gets 25 percent better fuel economy than the Crown Victoria, which gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway.
Unlike the Crown Victoria, which has a 250-horsepower V-8 engine, the new Police Interceptor will have two V-6 options: a standard engine with 263 horsepower and one with EcoBoost technology that gets 363 horsepower. That will bring the Interceptor in the range of the Charger, whose 362-horsepower Hemi V-8 is now the most powerful in the segment.
Ford also hopes to stand out with exclusive features, like carved front seats to accommodate officers’ holsters and rear doors that open 71 degrees — 10 degrees wider than usual — to make it easier to put people in the back.
The new Police Interceptor will come in front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive versions, a shift away from the rear-wheel-drive Crown Victoria. Ford anticipates complaints from some officers about that shift, but said it determined the new versions are more stable and predictable and less likely to fishtail. Ford also says younger officers are less familiar with rear-wheel-drive vehicles.
Lt. Keith Wilson, who tests cars for the Michigan State Police, said all-wheel-drive also will be helpful for departments in colder climates.
Wilson, who served on Ford’s advisory panel, said most of his agency’s 800 cars are Crown Victorias, but departments have to weigh the characteristics that are most important to them.
“Some urban agencies need a very maneuverable vehicle, and top speed is not as important. For others, fuel mileage may be more important than top speed,” he said.
